Audiovisual Symposium Notes 2022

1st Audiovisual Symposium 2022, 25 November, Falun, Sweden.

The first Audiovisual Symposium was part of DAVAMOT (24th – 26th November), a meeting at Dalarna AudioVisual Academy (DAVA) for everything audiovisual – a filmfestival, exhibition for audiovisual art and audiovisual installations, a music festival, and last but not least a symposium on the audiovisual phenomenon, all the above combined into a meeting, or mot in Old Norse. DAVAMOT celebrated the anniversary of the Media House in Falun. For 20 years, the Media House has been the place for a unique academic environment that combines audiovisual research, education and art. With music studio, TV studio, radio studio, audiovisual lab, editing rooms, and our own cinema, the Media House is a place for new knowledge and new expressions in audiovisual studies.

The symposium Notes published here have undergone a double review process, first a peer review prior to the symposium and then a further review and revision of the contributions.
