Technical Information
There are different ways to use the dome for presentations and performances, either via your own computer or via the computers available in the dome.
A personal computer can be connected via HDMI and use a standard projection surface on the dome, which is suitable for displaying slides or films that do not make use of the dome's full surface. HDMI provides access to stereo sound. If more channels are desired, it is possible to connect to a MADI-USB audio interface to access 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound. It is also possible to connect a personal computer via the network and output video and audio in any preferred way using NDI.
It is also possible to create content that is displayed by the dome's computers. For visuals, a fish-eye lens or spherical formats are used, and the resolution should be at least 4096×4096 and up to 8192×8192 pixels. The content can be either monoscopic or stereoscopic. The audio for the content can be 7.1 or 5.1 surround, or stereo.
More information will be presented here.
